What We Do For Our Community

The Rhode Island medical malpractice and personal injury attorneys at Morowitz & Barry, Ltd. are very active in the community. The firm supports numerous charitable causes throughout the state, including the Rhode Island Bar Foundation and others. In addition, David, Patrick and Jennifer each have considerable personal involvement with a number of professional organizations and community groups.

Each attorney at the firm is an active member of the Rhode Island Association for Justice, a group of approximately 400 Rhode Island attorneys dedicated to representing individuals harmed by the negligence of others. Patrick Barry was elected President of the organization in September 2009. Each year, the Rhode Island Association for Justice hands out hundreds of free bicycle helmets to needy school children, in an effort to reduce brain injuries and other serious results of bicycle accidents. The association is also active in mentoring local law students and young attorneys, to help ensure that all Rhode Islanders can obtain the most competent legal representation.
